최영배 전 브루클린한인회장이 자신이 운영하는 플러싱 건강백화점 ‘NHS골드‘에서 21희망재단에 마스크 1,000장을 기증했다.
최 회장은 “생계가 어려운 한인들을 돕고 있는 21희망재단의 소식을 듣고 마스크를 기부하게 됐다”고 말했다.
변종덕 재단 이사장은 “소외된 한인들에게 현금 지원뿐 아니라 마스크도 전달할 예정이었다”며, 감사를 전했다.
